The Development of Tourism Database of Chanthaburi Province for Elderly People on GIS Web Map Service

Abstract

Currently, the number of elderly people in Thailand is likely to increase in the future based on estimates of the population of Thailand and has tends to increasing to continue. Tourism will help to generate satisfaction for the elderly tourists and make a life value of elderly people. Prolong life It brings happiness both physical and mentally, and it also helps to promote harmony, love, and the age gap between the elderly and their family.

This research developed a tourism database of Chanthaburi province for elderly people on GIS web map service. It collected information such as tourist attractions, accommodation, restaurants, souvenirs and creating a tourism database for the elderly that it will help facilitate travel to reach the destination faster and including making sure routes to plan trip and help to travel and stay in a suitable and safe place.
