Updated ISSN Notification

On July 6, 2025, the National Library of Thailand issued a new ISSN for the journal’s online version: 3088-1803 (Online).

Responsible Use of Generative AI in Research | At the Journal of Applied Informatics and Technology (JIT), we recognize the transformative potential of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools, such as ChatGPT and other large language models (LLMs), to enhance research and scholarly publishing. These technologies can support various stages of the research process, from drafting and editing to data analysis.

To maintain academic integrity and transparency, we require that all uses of GenAI tools adhere to ethical standards. Our journal follows the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) on AI and authorship, ensuring a responsible and accountable integration of AI in academic work.

The authors affirm that the use of AI did not compromise the integrity of the research process, and all intellectual contributions remain the responsibility of the authors. No AI tool was used to generate original scientific hypotheses or interpret experimental results without human oversight. The authors are required to include a "Declaration of AI Use" section in their manuscript, providing details such as the example below.

"This manuscript includes content generated or assisted by artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Specifically, [insert AI tool name(s), e.g., ChatGPT by OpenAI, Grammarly, etc.] were used to support tasks such as [e.g., language editing, data analysis, figure generation, literature summarization, or coding assistance]. All AI-generated content was critically reviewed and verified by the authors to ensure accuracy, originality, and compliance with ethical standards."

Update on ISSN Status for the Journal of Applied Informatics and Technology

The Journal of Applied Informatics and Technology has requested the cancellation of its ISSN numbers for both the online and print formats, as they did not comply with international standards.

On July 3, 2025, the cancellation was officially confirmed by the National Library of Thailand. Currently, the journal is in the process of applying for new ISSN numbers. During this period, the journal will temporarily display a placeholder ISSN number (XXXX-XXXX) for the online version on our website.

The information will be updated immediately once the new ISSN is granted.

Article Number (Article ID)

2024-08-29

Starting in 2026, due to the rapid pace of online publication, the Journal of Applied Informatics and Technology (JIT) journal will assign an Article Number to each manuscriptinstead of using traditional page numbers.

Starting from February 1st, 2024, the JIT will only be accepting articles written in English.

2024-01-03

The Journal of Applied Informatics and Technology (JIT) aims to publish high-quality research in applied informatics and technology. JIT then requests the author to submit the research/review/academic articles in only English language.

After this announcement, we will stop accepting Thai language articles starting February 1st, 2024.

วันที่ 23 มิถุนายน 2566 ศูนย์ดัชนีการอ้างอิงวารสารไทย (TCI) ได้ประกาศผลการประเมินคุณภาพวารสารใหม่เข้าสู่ฐานข้อมูล TCI ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2566 โดยวารสารวิทยาการสารสนเทศและเทคโนโลยีประยุกต์ได้รับการประเมินเข้าสู่ฐานข้อมูล TCI ฐาน 1 (TCI1) โดยรับรองตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มกราคม 2566 ถึง 31 ธันวาคม 2567
