Abstract
Two-phase flow is an Important phenomena and otten seen m many
industrial equipment::;. The unit::; relevant to phase change are heat exchangers,
evaporators. condensers and pipelines in cryogenic system. So far . the tundan1ental
knowledge and theoretical model of two-phase flow have been studied and
developed thoroughly Unfortunately. only few of these knowledges are included m
the undergraduate level course. Therefore the obJectlVe of this topic is to present
the flow patterns. the search for the two-phase flow model. and the calculatIOn of
pressure drop. How to s elect the suitable model for gas-liquid flow at various
conditions is also discussed.
