Case study of power harmonic passive filters design by using 6-pulse phase-controlled converter
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper presented the 5th and 7th power-harmonic filters using the tune and the line reactor design. PSpice program is used simulating the filters and making the real load (using 6-pulsd phase controlled converter) for experiment. Resulting waveform from the experiment can be used to analyze current, voltage spectrum, and THD (Total Harmonic Distortion)by using MathLAB Program. It is found that these methods make an insignificant difference in current and voltage spectrum.
