Abstract

This paper proposes to determine an appropriate sample size for comparison multiple suppliers using one-sided specification limit’s capability index which is continuity research of Siraprapa and Prapaisri (2009). This study develops the method for finding minimal sample size required. A Monte Carlo simulation is conducted to obtain the minimal sample size required to calculate process capability index for two and three suppliers. The users can apply to multiple suppliers.
