Thai Journal of Physics (Thai J. Phys.), an official journal of the Materials Research Society-Thailand, publishes a variety of articles on theoretical and applied physics.

Aims and Scope

Thai Journal of Physics is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to theoretical and experimental research on as well as applied physics in an interdisciplinary context.

Peer Review

Articles, Review Articles, and Original Research Articles are subjected to double-blind review by at least 2 referees.

 Language

The journal welcomes the submission in either Thai or English

Authors must adhere to academic writing standards and ensure their manuscripts are reviewed by a language expert before submission. 

Publication Schedule

Thai Journal of Physics is published 2 issues a year, in  a continuous publication format.

  • Issue No. 1: January-June
  • Issue No. 2: June-December

Open Access

The journal operates on the ThaiJO online platform and the Open Journal Systems (OJS), an open-access journal service platform managed by the Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) Centre. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Publication Fee

Thai Journal of Physics is a diamond open access journal funded by the Thai Physics Society, which means there are no article processing charges (APC) for authors.

Publisher

Thai Journal of Physics is an official peer-reviewed journal of the Thai Physics Society.

Since 2014, the editorial team based at Walailak University has been responsible for processing manuscripts and managing the journal.
