A development of Educational Quality Administration Model for Schools under the Primary Educational Service Area Office

Abstract

 


      The purpose of this research was to develop the educational quality administration model for schools under the Office of Primary Education Service Area with specific purposes as follows: 1) To study the basic information on the educational quality administration model. 2) To construct and test the educational quality administration model. 3) To evaluate and verify the educational quality administration model. 


      The research was divided into 3 stages: Stage 1 to study the basic information on the educational quality administration model for schools under the Office of Primary Educational Service Area by document study and three role model schools from 21 informants, Stage 2 to construct and test the educational quality administration model by 5 experts once and then the model was tested by other 10 experts (Connoisseurship) again, Stage 3 to evaluate and verify the educational quality administration model with the samples of 325 informants who are administrators and teachers from 65 areas which comprise five informants from each area. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis. 


      The findings were as follows: Stage 1 the result from the study of the document on educational quality administration from the original schools overall the educational quality administration model was in a highest level. Stage 2 the result from constructing the educational quality administration model consisted of 4 elements: 1) ideas of quality administration, 2) principles of quality administration, 3) objectives of quality administration and 4) implementation (PDCA). The 4 areas in quality administration were as follows: academic administration, personnel administration, budget administration and general administration which covered 51 indicators and the result from the monitoring (draft) it was found that the correctness, appropriateness and the usefulness overall was in a high level. Stage 3 the result from the evaluation and verification of the educational quality administration model, it was found that the usefulness and the possibility overall was in a highest level.
