Web-Based Instruction for Review via Network Equipment for Vocational Certificate Students

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) to development of Web-Based Instruction (WBI) for Review via on Network Equipment in quality and efficiency and 2) compare pretest and posttest achievement scores of subjects learning with WBI for Review. The samples used in this study were 33 vocational students in 2014 academic year, field of business computing,  Chachoengsao Vocational College. They had already studied Network Equipment Vocational Certificate Students. Cluster sampling method was used to select 1 group (33 students for each group) out of 3 groups of population. Instruments of research consisted of WBI, the quality questionnaire and multiple choices achievement test. This test comprised 30 items with the IOC between 0.67-1.00, the degree of difficulty between 0.40-0.75, the degree of discrimination 0.30-0.70 and reliability coefficient of 0.81. The result of this research revealed that:

1. The quality was evaluated by the expert and found that the content was in a very good level ( =4.50, S.D.=0.79) and technic media development was in a very good level ( =4.51, S.D.=0.46)


2. The efficiency (E₁/E₂) of the WBI was 90.75/94.04.


3. Achievement of students after learning with WBI for Review via on Network Equipment was statistically and significantly higher than the achievement prior to learning with WBI for review (α=0.5).
