DEVELOPMENT OF 4 MAT ACTIVITIES PACKAGE ON PAST TENSE FOR GRADE 10 STUDENTS AT PROTPITTAYAPAYAT SCHOOL

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to develop 4 MAT activities package on Past Tense for Mattayomsuksa 4 students at Protpittayapayat School. 2) to compare the student learning achievement between pretest and posttest with learning activities package on Past Tense for Mattayomsuksa 4 students at Protpittayapayat School. The samples were 40 Grade 10 students in the second semester of 2014 at Protpittayapayat School Ladkrabang  District , Bangkok Province which selected  by cluster  random sampling that using class to unit of random. The research instruments consisted of 1) 4 MAT activities package on Past Tense for 8 evaluated in quality at the highest level (  = 4.61). 2) The achievement test of 20 items, IOC between 0.6-1.0, the difficulty value ranging between 0.45-0.60, the discrimination powers ranging between 0.80-1.00 and the reliability value of 0.99. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation and t-test for dependent sample. The research results were as follow 1) the development 4 MAT activities package on Past Tense attained the efficiency of 84.86/80.88. 2) The achievement  of  learning result  was found that the scores of posttest were significantly higher than pretest scores at the .05 level.
