บทคัดย่อ
ศึกษาการเด็ดยอดต่อการเจริญเติบโตและการออกดอกพิทูเนีย โดยการเพาะเมล็ดพิทูเนียในวัสดุเพาะจนกระทั่งต้นสูง 5 เซนติเมตร จากนั้นย้ายลงกระถางขนาด 20 เซนติเมตร ที่มีวัสดุปลูก คือ แกลบดิบ : แกลบดำ : ดิน : ปุ๋ยคอก : ปุ๋ยสูตร 16-16-16 อัตราส่วน 1 : 2 : 1 : 1 : 0.5 ส่วน เริ่มเด็ดยอดครั้งแรก เมื่อมีใบ 3 คู่ แบ่งวิธีการทดลองเป็น 5 วิธี คือ ไม่เด็ดยอด เด็ดยอด 1 2 3 และ 4 ครั้ง เป็นระยะเวลา 5 สัปดาห์ พบว่าการเด็ดยอด 1 ครั้ง ให้ความสูงของต้นสูงที่สุด คือ 26.50 เซนติเมตร การเด็ดยอด 4 ครั้ง ให้ขนาดทรงพุ่มกว้างที่สุด คือ 61.50 เซนติเมตร สำหรับการไม่เด็ดยอดให้ความยาวของดอกความยาวก้านดอกดีที่สุด คือ 4.73 และ 3.44 เซนติเมตร ส่วนการเด็ดยอด 2 3 และ 4 ครั้ง ให้จำนวนดอกดีที่สุด คือ 31.40 25.70 และ 24.40 ดอก ตามลำดับ
Abstract
In this study, the effect of pinching was investigated. Petunia seeds were sown in planting media. When their heights reached 5 cm., they were moved into 20 cm. pots containing growing media consisting of rice husk, carbonized rice husk, soil, manure and fertilizer (16-16-16) in 1 : 2 : 1 : 1 : 0.5 ratio. Pinching was started when plants had 3 pair of leaves, they were divided into 5 groups. First group, plants were allowed to grow without pinching, whereas the others were pinched 4 times during week 5 accordingly. It was found that the height of those plants pinched once were highest, 26.50 cm., whereas plant pinched times gave the biggest bush 61.50 cm. width. Flower sizes of those without pinching were larger and had longer flower stalk than the others, 4.73 and 3.44 cm., respectively, On the other hand, plant pinched 2 - 4 times gave the most number of flowers per plant, 31.40, 25.70 and 24.40 respectively.
