Guidelines and Conditions for the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Article Writing

PKRU SciTech Journal acknowledges the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in the preparation of academic manuscripts to enhance writing quality, language refinement, and data management. However, in order to uphold academic quality, research integrity, and ethical standards, the journal has established the following guidelines and conditions regarding the use of AI in manuscript preparation:

1. AI Usage Disclosure

Authors must clearly state in the manuscript which AI tools were used and specify the processes in which they were applied. Text generated or edited using AI tools must be highlighted in yellow to ensure transparency during the review process.

2. Permissible Scope of AI Usage

The journal permits the use of AI tools solely for the purposes of grammar checking, language translation, and text rephrasing. The use of AI for generating core academic content or performing analytical tasks that constitute the substance of the research is strictly prohibited.

3. Author Responsibility

Authors bear full responsibility for all content presented in their articles, even if AI tools were utilized in any part of the process. If the journal identifies that the manuscript includes automatically generated content without the author's academic analysis or synthesis, the article will be rejected from consideration.

4. Prohibited Use of AI with Research Data

Authors are strictly prohibited from using AI to fabricate, manipulate, or falsify experimental data, statistical information, or research results without clear, verifiable sources of reference.

5. Journal Review and Verification

The journal reserves the right to employ analytical tools to evaluate manuscripts for inappropriate or excessive use of AI. If irregularities are detected, the editorial team may request further clarification from the author.

6. Sanctions

In cases where inappropriate AI use is detected, either prior to or after publication, the journal reserves the right to reject the manuscript or retract the published article in order to uphold research ethics.
