This research aims to design and develop lygodium shoulder bags through the Integration of Quality Function Deployment and Kansei Engineering. It explores and converts customer needs into factors influencing product purchase decisions. The results were analyzed using Quality Function Deployment within the product planning matrix. It focuses on converting customer requirements into technical specifications. Kansei Engineering was used for statistical analysis, and Quantification Theory Type I was applied to convert qualitative data into quantitative data. The results showed that product development based on quality function deployment analysis led to changes in design, quality, materials, functionality, and price, which were appropriately reflected in the technical requirements. Quantification Theory Type I led to changes in product characteristics such as weaving patterns, shapes, dimensions, and shoulder strap sizes. Therefore, in the design and development of lygodium shoulder bags, customers were most satisfied with the weaving method, which was identified as the top priority. The satisfaction level regarding the weaving method was very high (average = 4.51), and the sense of elegance also received a good rating (average = 4.37). The findings provide an important foundation for developing new products that meet user needs while promoting the future utilization of locally available weeds.
