Abstract

This paper presents the development of a new E-commerce platform for product preordering through a web application and a mobile device. Users can view a list of products from many exhibitions and preorder the preferred products. Additionally, users can ask the members to find any required items. This business model is currently gaining attention from online merchandisers. However, the traditional preordering business relies on social media applications and lacks clear procedures and securities in a business transaction. The developed system proposes a secure online platform for new E-commerce business consisting of: (1) a mobile device application for general public to see a list of products from exhibitions, to post product details and receive product orders, to ask members to find preferred products including to chat together about details of products (2) a web application for administration, Firebase, a real-time database, is used for storing and supporting huge data from users as well as preorders management to speed up the data retrieval process. On the evaluation of users’ satisfaction, it was found that all groups of users were highly satisfied with the proposed system ( gif.latex?\fn_jvn&space;\overline{x} = 4.30). The system will be a new E-commerce platform being able to create jobs and generate income for those who are interested in doing business in product preordering or general public who need to have an extra income.
