การพัฒนาตัวเร่งปฏิกิริยานิกเกิลบนตัวรองรับไทเทเนียมออกไซด์จากแร่ลูโคซีนของไทยสำหรับการผลิตไฮโดรเจนจากปฏิกิริยาการแตกตัวของมีเทน

งานวิจัยนี้ศึกษาการพัฒนาตัวเร่งปฏิกิริยานิกเกิลบนตัวรองรับไทเทเนียมออกไซด์จากแร่ลูโคซีนของไทย (Ni/TiO2-Leucoxene) สำหรับการผลิตไฮโดรเจนจากปฏิกิริยาการแตกตัวของมีเทน และเปรียบเทียบสมบัติและประสิทธิภาพกับตัวเร่งปฏิกิริยานิกเกิลบนตัวรองรับไทเทเนียมออกไซด์เกรดการค้า Ni/TiO2-Commercial เตรียมตัวเร่งปฏิกิริยาด้วยวิธีเคลือบฝังแบบเปียก โดยกำหนดปริมาณนิกเกิลร้อยละ 30 โดยน้ำหนัก และศึกษาคุณลักษณะของตัวเร่งปฏิกิริยาด้วยเทคนิควิเคราะห์การเลี้ยวเบนของรังสีเอ็กซ์และกล้องจุลทรรศน์อิเล็กตรอนแบบส่องกราด จากนั้นนำไปทดสอบในเครื่องปฏิกรณ์แบบเบดนิ่งที่อุณหภูมิ 600 และ 650 องศาเซลเซียส ภายใต้ความดันบรรยากาศ และวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบก๊าซผลิตภัณฑ์ด้วยเทคนิคแก๊สโครมาโทกราฟี ผลการวิเคราะห์ XRD ของตัวรองรับจากแร่ลูโคซีนพบเฟสของ TiO2 ร่วมกับออกไซด์ของธาตุอื่น เช่น Fe2O3 และ SiO2 และหลังการเตรียมตัวเร่งปฏิกิริยาพบเฟสของ NiO โดยผลการคำนวณด้วย Scherrer equation พบว่า NiO ในตัวเร่งปฏิกิริยา Ni/TiO2-Leucoxene มีขนาดผลึกเฉลี่ย 11.9 nm ซึ่งเล็กกว่า Ni/TiO2-Commercial ที่มีขนาดผลึกเฉลี่ย 14.6 nm ขณะที่ภาพ SEM แสดงให้เห็นว่าตัวเร่งปฏิกิริยา Ni/TiO2-Leucoxene มีลักษณะสัณฐานแบบแท่งและมีช่องว่างระหว่างอนุภาคที่สังเกตได้ แตกต่างจาก Ni/TiO2-Commercial ที่มีลักษณะเป็นอนุภาคเกาะกลุ่มแน่น จากผลการทดสอบปฏิกิริยาการแตกตัวของมีเทน พบว่า ตัวเร่งปฏิกิริยา Ni/TiO2-Leucoxene ให้ค่าการเปลี่ยนแปลงของมีเทนสูงกว่าตัวเร่งปฏิกิริยา Ni/TiO2-Commercial อย่างชัดเจน โดยที่อุณหภูมิ 650 องศาเซลเซียส ให้ค่าการเปลี่ยนแปลงมีเทนเท่ากับ 98.7% ที่เวลา 90 นาที ดังนั้นกล่าวได้ว่าแร่ลูโคซีนของไทยมีศักยภาพในการใช้เป็นตัวรองรับต้นทุนต่ำสำหรับตัวเร่งปฏิกิริยาในกระบวนการผลิตไฮโดรเจนจากมีเทน
