To cover the costs associated with editorial processing, peer review, publication, and maintenance of the journal's open-access infrastructure, the Geotechnical Engineering Journal of the SEAGS & AGSSEA charges article processing charges (APCs) upon acceptance of the manuscript. The APC amount is determined based on factors such as article length, complexity, and the financial resources available to the authors or their institutions. However, the journal offers waivers or discounts on APCs for authors from low- and middle-income countries, as well as for authors facing financial hardship, upon request.
