The New Discrete Weighted Exponential Distribution and Application

บทคัดย่อ

This paper proposes the new discrete weighted exponential distribution using the discrete method which is introduced by Chakraborty (2015). Probability mass function (pmf), cumulative distribution function (cdf), survival function (sf) and some mathematical properties are discussed. Parameter estimation of the new discrete weighted exponential distribution based on the maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) method. In addition, the new distribution was applied to two real data sets. In summary, the new distribution could be an alternative count data distribution.
