Achievement and satisfaction of learners with using social networking website for teaching and learning

Abstract

This research was experiment research. The purposes of this research were: to compare the achievement of students between before and after study using social networking website for teaching and learning and to study on the satisfaction of learning to use the social networking website for teaching and learning. The samples used in this research were 30 undergraduate students from Faculty of Applied Science, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok who studying in Academic year 1/2558 by using simple random sampling. The tools used in this research were social network website for learning and teaching, achievement test and satisfaction questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation and dependent t-test. The results showed that achievement by using social network website for learning and teaching from after study was statistically significance higher than before study at the .05 level and students were satisfied to use social networking website for teaching and learning at the highest level.
