Optofluidics and modern technology development

Abstract

Optofluidics is integrated between fluidics and optics with natural optofluidics in which there are can be developed unique tools and techniques for enabling the simultaneous delivery making use of the interaction of light with fluids for Lab on a chip. This paper, we will explore on optofluidics mechanism in synthesizing optical system with fluids. Fluid has different unit properties from solid and these properties can be used to design a new optofluidics tool. The optofluidics can be divided into three mechanism, as well as, fluids in solids, fluids in fluids, and solids in fluids. In applications, the optofluidics have been used in biomedicine, engineering, biotechnology, and sensors fields etc.
