Main Article Content
Abstract
Traditional student attendance checking spends a lot of time. If student is late and attendance checking is necessary, this case can disrupt the lecture and distract the lecturer. To solve this problem, this research aims to develop mobile applications for student attendance checking using NFC technology on Android. There are 4 steps in developing our application, 1.Analyze system requirements 2.Design application based on analytical data 3.Develop the designed system 4.Testing application and evaluation. The result of evaluation shows that this system can reduce the student attendance checking time by 30.12% when compared with traditional attendance checking in case of every student is present at the time of checking.
